These are exactly what I was looking for….. something easy to use, easy to add and take away weight from and perfect to use at home. I got a walking pad (technically a treadmill but if I’m running it’s because someone is chasing me, so, yeah it’s a walking pad.) from Amazon because I am of the age where women tend to have their health effected due to all the changes in anatomy. I’m not the gym type. Period. But I care about my health and decided to make changes in my life that are sustainable. I wanted a simple yet adjustable weight set to carry in my hands and eventually do minor lifts and movements with ….. all while walking on the walking pad. These fit the bill. I took off all weights and used just the 2 pound handles. I simply held them and let my natural swagger occur. Some will say 2 pounds isn’t enough. (Each handle is 2 pounds) Or even the full 5 you can go to isn’t enough. (You can add .5 pounds to make each one weigh 5 pounds total.) To that I say…. Something is better then nothing. Period. Walking for 45 minutes each night and now adding hand weights is good for someone like me whose had 3 spinal surgeries and 2 spinal fusions and needs to improve her lifestyle and cannot handle the impact of most things. Eventually I’ll add ankle weights. And I’ll look up the same company because these hand weights are great!
